K-Now Digital Adoption Service

Your company has added a third-party service to your application(s) for digital adoption. This Privacy Policy applies to this third-party service, named K-NOW and published by the company Knowmore.

At Knowmore, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to the information and personal data collected by our digital adoption platform when you interact with content distributed by our platform on your applications.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, receive, use, store, share, transfer, and process your personal data. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "personal data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

Knowmore's clients may collect and manage personal data when using our digital adoption products and services. When you use this service, Knowmore processes personal data as a data processor under the direction of our clients. Our clients, as data controllers, are responsible for complying with all regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure, and/or obtaining consent before collecting their customers' personal data using the digital adoption service.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information we process on behalf of clients when they use the digital adoption platform

Our digital adoption platform allows our clients to create and share content. When clients use our product, they may collect personal data about you.

We do not control the content created on the platform by our clients. We store our clients' information on our service providers' servers, but we process it as a subcontractor according to our clients' instructions and in compliance with our client service terms, which prohibit us from using this information unless necessary to provide and improve the subscription service.

Our clients control and are responsible for correcting, deleting, or updating the information they process using the digital adoption platform and for complying with any regulations or laws requiring notice, disclosure, and/or consent before transferring personal data to Knowmore for processing purposes.

We collect personal data when:

  • You log in to the digital adoption platform to view, create, manage, or modify the platform's content 
  • We display messages from the digital adoption platform
  • You open, hover over, or interact with a message from the platform
  • You submit feedback
  • You open the digital adoption menu and navigate through it
  • You open certain pages of your applications and click on certain buttons chosen by the administrators of the digital adoption platform within your company.  

When one of the aforementioned operations occurs, we collect the following data:

  • The user identifier, as shared by the company,
  • The identifier of the digital adoption platform content interacted with, and interactions with this content
  • User preferences regarding content offered by the platform
  • Responses to feedback requests (rating and any comments)
  • The ID of the page and/or button clicked 
  • The date and time of the event 

Information we process on behalf of clients about individuals who view, create, manage, or modify content on the platform

The digital adoption service is delivered to your end-users on your applications either anonymously or authenticated, and this may vary from one application to another. In all cases, content authors and administrators are authenticated.

When you administer and/or create content on the K-Now digital adoption platform, we ask you to create an account to identify yourself. This information includes your first name, last name, email, and the rights assigned to you on the platform. 

Information related to the content you produce is stored and managed by the platform.

We collect personal data when you connect to the digital adoption platform to view, create, manage, or modify platform content:

  • Connection to the platform
  • Platform management operations
  • Creation, modification, deletion of a user or their rights
  • Additions, modifications, deletions of the configuration of applications served by the platform 
  • Creation, modification, deletion of content, batches, envelopes
  • Data exports and imports 

When one of the aforementioned operations occurs, we collect the following data:

  • The identifier of the person who performed this operation,
  • The operation performed
  • Identification of what was modified
  • The date and time of the event

Information we automatically collect for Knowmore

We retain certain information about you when you visit and interact with our digital adoption services. This information may include your IP (Internet Protocol) address, your first and last dates of use of the digital adoption service, your preferences for using the digital adoption services, your MAC address, your cookie identifiers, details about your web browser (e.g., browser type and language), your operating system or device, location information (including general location inferred from your IP address). The information we collect may be associated with accounts and other devices.

USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

The Client is and remains the owner of all Data on the content they manage via our K-Now digital adoption service.

The collected data aims to retain user preferences across all devices and browsers used, to take into account content that the user has already viewed in the content display policy, and to establish statistics on content usage, particularly by individual, to allow authors to track their audience and thus their effectiveness. 

More generally, this Information is used for the operation and improvement of the K-Now digital adoption service. Knowmore does not share, sell, rent, or market information related to these digital adoption services.

RIGHT OF ACCESS AND RECTIFICATION OF DATA 

You have the right to access and rectify your personal data collected by the platform. This data will be provided to you and can be rectified upon simple request addressed to the Digital Protection Officer dpo@knowmore.fr

PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Information relating to individuals who create, view, manage, or modify content on the platform is retained for the entire duration of the subscription, extended by an additional 5 years for personal data and for other content data.

Personal information collected on applications served by the platform is retained for 1 year after your last login date.

SECURITY

Knowmore is committed to preserving the integrity and confidentiality of the data contained within its digital adoption platforms. Knowmore will implement technical and organizational measures to prevent any fraudulent access or use of the Data and to prevent any loss, alteration, or destruction of the Data. Should Knowmore become aware of a breach of these security rules, it will immediately notify the Client and take all necessary measures to remedy the incident.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We update this privacy policy from time to time and encourage you to review it regularly. We will post any changes to the privacy policy on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will notify you in more detail upon login.
