K-Now digital adoption service

Your company has added a third-party service to your application(s) for digital adoption. This privacy policy applies to this third-party service, called K-NOW, published by Knowmore.

At Knowmore, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to personal information and data collected by our digital adoption platform when you interact with content delivered by our platform on your apps.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, receive, use, store, share, transfer and process your personal data. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, "personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

Knowmore customers may collect and manage personal data when using our digital adoption products and services. When you use this service, Knowmore processes personal data as a subcontractor under the direction of our customers. Our clients, as data controllers, are responsible for complying with any regulations or laws that require providing notice, disclosure and/or obtaining consent prior to collecting their clients' personal data using the digital adoption service.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information we process on behalf of customers when they use the digital adoption platform

Our digital adoption platform enables our customers to create and share content. When customers use our product, they may collect personal data about you.

We have no control over the content posted on the platform by our customers. We store our customers' information on the servers of our service providers, but process it as a subcontractor according to our customers' instructions and in accordance with our terms of customer service, which prohibit us from using this information except as necessary to provide and improve the subscription service.

Our customers control and are responsible for correcting, deleting or updating the information they process using the Digital Adoption Platform and for complying with any regulations or laws requiring notice, disclosure and/or consent prior to transferring personal data to Knowmore for processing.

We collect personal data when :

  • Connect to the digital adoption platform to consult, create, manage or modify content on the platform. 
  • We display messages from the digital adoption platform
  • Open, hover over or interact with a message on the platform
  • Fill in a feedback form
  • Open the digital adoption menu and navigate through it
  • You open certain pages of your applications and click on certain buttons chosen by the people who administer the digital adoption platform in your company.  

When one of the above operations occurs, we collect the following data:

  • The user ID, as shared by the company,
  • The content identifier of the digital adoption platform manipulated, and the interactions with this content
  • User preferences regarding the content offered by the platform
  • Responses to feedback requests (ratings and comments)
  • The identifier of the page and/or button clicked 
  • Date and time of event 

Information we process on behalf of customers about the people who consult, create, manage or modify content on the platform

The digital adoption service is delivered on your applications to your end-users either anonymously or authenticated, and this may differ from one application to another. In all cases, content authors and administrators are authenticated.

When you administer and/or create content on the K-Now digital adoption platform, we ask you to create an account to identify yourself. This information includes your last name, first name, e-mail address and the rights assigned to you on the platform. 

Information relating to the content you produce is stored and managed by the platform.

We collect personal data when you connect to the digital adoption platform to consult, create, manage or modify the platform's content:

  • Connecting to the platform
  • Platform management operations
  • Creating, modifying or deleting users or their rights
  • Additions, modifications and deletions to the configuration of applications served by the platform 
  • Creation, modification and deletion of content, batches and envelopes
  • Data exports and imports 

When one of the above operations occurs, we collect the following data:

  • The identifier of the person who performed the operation,
  • The operation performed
  • Identifying what has been modified
  • Date and time of event

Information we automatically collect for Knowmore

We retain certain information about you when you visit and interact with our digital adoption services. This information may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your dates of first and last use of the digital adoption service, your preferences for using the digital adoption services, your MAC address, your cookie identifiers, details about your web browser (for example, your browser type and language), your operating system or device, location information (including general location inferred from your IP address), The information we collect may be associated with accounts and other devices.

USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

The Customer is and remains the owner of all Data on the content it manages via our K-Now digital adoption service.

The purpose of the data collected is to keep track of user preferences across all workstations and browsers used, to take account of the content that the user has already seen in the content display policy, and to compile statistics on the use of content, particularly by individuals, so as to enable the authors to monitor their audience and therefore their effectiveness. 

More generally, this Information is used to operate and improve the K-Now digital adoption service. Knowmore does not share, sell, rent or market any information relating to these digital adoption services.

RIGHT OF ACCESS AND RECTIFICATION OF DATA 

You have the right to access and rectify your personal data collected by the platform. This information is communicated to you and can be rectified on request to the Digital Protection Officer dpo@knowmore.fr

RETENTION PERIOD FOR PERSONAL DATA

Information relating to people who create, consult, manage or modify content on the platform is kept for the duration of the subscription, extended by a further 5 years for personal data and other content data.

Personal information collected on applications served by the platform is kept for 1 year after your last connection date.

SECURITY

Knowmore undertakes to preserve the integrity and confidentiality of the Data contained in its digital adoption platforms. Knowmore will implement technical and organizational measures to prevent any access to or fraudulent use of the Data and to prevent any loss, alteration or destruction of the Data. In the event that Knowmore becomes aware of a breach of these security rules, it will immediately notify the Customer and take all necessary measures to remedy the incident.

CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time and encourage you to review it regularly. We will post any changes to the Privacy Policy on this page and, if the changes are material, we will notify you in more detail at login.
