A major French airport operator speeds up the adoption of its HxGN EAM maintenance system.
Replacing the maintenance system affects teams that never stop. K-STUDIO lets them practise on a replica of the application before the switchover; K-NOW takes over in the real tool, at the moment of the task.

This major French airport operator is replacing its computerised maintenance management system with HxGN EAM. On a site like this, maintenance never stops: field technicians, planners and asset managers open neither the same screens nor at the same rhythm.
Training prepares people, it does not stay with them.
A replacement of that size cannot rest on classroom training alone. The teams are not available at the same time, work shifted hours and have to be operational from go-live. They needed to practise before the switchover, then find the right move again directly inside the application.
Practise before the switchover, be guided after it.
Two complementary solutions, used at two different moments of the project.
Learning by doing
Simulated exercises on a replica of the maintenance system, with no risk to production data.
Four self-sufficient authors
The project teams have been trained to create and update the content themselves.
Guidance in the tool
After the switchover, K-NOW takes over with contextual help at the moment of the task.
Very different roles
Field work, planning and asset management are each supported on their own screens.

Support that covers both sides of the switchover.
Teams that are ready
Users practise on the new maintenance system before it becomes the production tool.
Help at the moment of the task
After go-live, help sits in the screen rather than in a manual read beforehand.
Content owned in house
Four trained authors keep the content moving at the pace of the project.
A broad scope
The setup covers 1,200 users across every maintenance role.
