Michelin trains its teams on Oracle E-Business Suite with interactive simulations.
Michelin uses K-STUDIO to provide hands-on training, standardize the learning of financial processes, and facilitate the adoption of Oracle E-Business Suite across its international teams.
The application simulator for hands-on training in a realistic environment.
Hands-on training to ensure consistent adoption of financial processes.
As part of its transformation initiatives, Michelin wanted to standardize, simplify and accelerate its financial processes while ensuring consistent learning of new practices across teams worldwide. K-STUDIO made it possible to deliver interactive training that simulates Oracle E-Business Suite.
Supporting a financial transformation on an international scale.
Michelin needed to support its teams in adopting new financial processes based on Oracle E-Business Suite, with a strong focus on consistency and standardization across different regions.
The goal was to enable employees to learn and apply processes consistently, regardless of local cultures, while avoiding the constraints of setting up dedicated training environments for every system and language.

Create a consistent, hands-on training experience that is easy to deploy.
Standardize processes
Simplify and accelerate financial processes within a common framework.
Standardize learning
Ensure consistent implementation of new processes by teams across different regions.
Learn by doing
Enable employees to practice in an environment close to the real application to strengthen adoption.
Simplify deployment
Avoid the complexity and cost of creating dedicated training environments across different systems and languages.

K-STUDIO to practice using Oracle E-Business Suite without accessing the live environment.
Michelin chose to train its employees through interactive K-STUDIO content simulating the ERP. Learners could complete exercises, view information and enter data just as if they were actually working in Oracle E-Business Suite.
A simulation-based training model extended to new rollouts.
Hands-on learning
Employees were able to practice in simulations reproducing ERP usage without interacting with the live environment.
Expanded rollout
Following the success of simulation-based training for the Backbone ERP, Michelin extended this approach to the D2C rollout, first in China and then across other regions.
Easier deployment
Simulation helped avoid the operational constraints of setting up dedicated training environments across multiple systems and languages.
Award-winning project
Michelin and Knowmore won the 7th Trophée des Trophées in the Change Management category, awarded by the Oracle PeopleSoft – AUFO – JD Edwards user club.
Immersive training to secure the adoption of new processes.
Risk-free practice
Learners can practice business tasks in a realistic simulation without interacting with the production system.
Consistent learning
The same content and exercises support consistent process adoption worldwide.
Simplified deployment
Simulations reduce dependence on dedicated training environments and make it easier to distribute content across different contexts.
Sustainable adoption
Practicing with realistic scenarios helps employees build confidence before using the application in their day-to-day work.
